6 Days Albany, Esperance, Wave Rock

It’s almost unfair how stunning Albany is, house to a number of the most stunning nationwide parks in the entire country. Even if you just have a number of days to visit, it is not going to disappoint with an incredible amount of things to do in Albany. The Blowholes, because the name suggests, “blow” water up through a crack within the granite, producing a wondrous (and at times very loud) spray. There is also a popular walking path to the Blowholes, a 1.6km return journey from the carpark. While it’s a comparatively straightforward stroll, it is very important keep away from the ocean edge at all times as the path can get dangerously slippery. Albany is home to the world’s largest distiller of sandalwood oil, the Sandalwood Shop. Just a couple of kilometres north of the city centre, this eclectic store sells beauty, health and lifestyle products inspired by sandalwood oil. Their expansive vary of products consists of anti-ageing skincare, tub salts, reed diffusers and even deodorant. The lookouts on the Gap and Natural Bridge provide a few of the most iconic ocean views within the State. Both lookouts are within the Torndirrup National Park and provide stellar views of the Southern Ocean, Bald Head and West Cape Howe.
